Canada work visa steps are:

In order to be eligible you must have:
  • A valid offer from an employer
  • Valid passport and documents
  • Visa application form
  • Letter of invitation
  • Certificate of medical examination
  • Proof of finances
  • Proof of educational qualification

Once you have a work permit, you can apply for a permanent residence through immigration program like the Canadian Experience Class.

You must meet the following requirements:

  • Have full time skilled work experience or at least 12 months experience in Canada which is gained in 3 years prior to applying
  • Meet the required level of language skills in accordance with the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 

You can also apply through skilled workers stream and this is open to professionals, skilled workers streams, and to those with a provincial nomination
